I am a Front End Developer and have been developing since 2011. A career change that was prompted by a sports blog I started writing in 2008. keyaspectscoaching.com. Prior to this move I worked as a sports coach throughout the world, from the Colorado Rockies to the South Male Atolls. This passion for coaching still stays with me today and when I'm not helping build the next best thing in code, I spend a portion of my time in Europe coaching snowboarding.

I enjoy the mixed lifestyle and this spurs on a continued passion and drive forward in personal as well as work related development. This has come in the forms of foreign language and musical instrumental study to online tutorials / courses in web development: teamtreehouse.com, vuemastery.com, ultimatecourses.com.

Since 2017 I have been focusing on developing SPA (single page applications) using Angular, REST APIs and state management (NGRX). More recently I have started working with Vue.js and Vuex.

In the past I have worked with PHP templating projects / Wordpress CMS themes, CSS animations and frameworks, Node.js and PSD design to site conversions. I'm very much at home working on large traditional sites within cross-functional teams, collaborating our way to success or taking on smaller projects with sole responsibility.
